The Federal Government and the State of Chiapas, used by police forces to repress social protest of the people and organizations.

In Briefing Note on 15 April this, the Human Rights Centre reported on military harassment suffered by protesters roadblock in the Blue Water Cruise, municipality of Chilo by members of the Other Campaign Bachajón Ejido San Sebastian to demand the release of their detained colleagues 6: Jerome Saragos Gómez, Antonio Gómez Saragos, Miguel Demeza Jiménez, Sebastián Demeza Deara, Pedro Moreno and Jerome Demeza Deara Deara. Despite this intimidating event, the road blockade continued, giving way to vehicles every hour handing out flyers demanding the release of detainees. According to official sources? Today April 17, about 12 hrs. the Human Rights Center received information that about 800 police troops of the State Preventive Police (PEP), Federal Preventive Police (PFP) and officials of the Attorney General of the State (PGJE) headed to Agua Azul, where is the roadblock. According to official sources the police operation is under federal law, a criminal complaint for the crime of attacks on federal highways of communication.
At approximately 17.30 hrs. Adherents of the Other Campaign in San Sebastian Bachajon reported that police forces were in Xanil and Agua Clara, according to Data provided to the Human Rights Centre, the policemen who were in Xanil met with PRI site, which showed the house of a shoe, which caused a riot in the place. There is information of a person injured in one eye.
Members of the Center for Human Rights in the field were able to document the actions of intimidation, harassment and provocation that a convoy of police made the Rebel Zapatista Autonomous Municipality of San José in Rebellion, causing the PRI groups in the area put aggressive against Baptists support bases. Also able to verify the destruction of the control booth adherents of the Other Campaign were at the entrance of Blue Water, which according to versions of those interviewed reported that a group of the State Preventive Police and removed the destroyed documents were inside.
