Have you heard of Joost? I'm sure if, but just in case you have no idea what it is, I'll explain.
Joost TV is a platform created by the creators of Skype, and offers HDTV quality. For now only available for Windows, but for other platforms will follow shortly. Joost's content offering are varied, ranging from sports to movies, to cartoons, music and documentaries. Quite an experience, of course, if you have broadband.
